Happy New Year! New item!

Hello Everyone!

I want to wish you a Happy New Year. As we all look for direction in these challenging times, I choose optimism. We can lean on each other as we chart a way towards hope.

Each year I like to reflect on and re-affirm the purpose of Simply Chickie.

We are here to make you laugh and be a resource for connection and love to your friends and family. 

Each order is always fun for me. I think about the choice you made, what little human will be wrapped in our soft organic clothes and blankets, and the delight the gift will bring to the recipient. Each package is carefully wrapped and packed. My favorite part is writing the note on our brand card. I hope our little symbolic happy chick adds a smile to your day.
We will be adding new items to our organic cotton Made in the USA items this year, so please check back frequently to see what we’ve been up to. 

Since we all need to focus on love and being kind, I am adding our new love onesie (3/6, 6/12, 12/18 months) and kiddo t-shirts (up to 4 years) that will debut in early February. You may pre-order through the website with the link below. 
In times of reflection, I frequently turn to Mary Oliver poetry. I will share one here—and hope that you have a person in your life whose hand you like to hold as you wonder and wander through this world.

A Voice from I Don’t Know where

“Yes, I said. “This beautiful world.”

And you don’t mind the mind, that keeps you
busy all the time with its dark and bright wonderings?

“No, I’m quite used to it. Busy, busy,
all the time.”

And, you don’t mind living with those questions, I mean hard ones, that no one can answer?

“Actually, they are the ones most interesting.”

And, you have a person in your life whose hand you like to hold?
“Yes, I do.”

“It must surely, then, be very happy down there in your heart.
“Yes, “I said. “It is.”
